The pictures do not do Embers justice. Spaces exude luxury from top to bottom. Well stocked house aimed towards hosting. Beautiful expansive private grounds with abundant wildlife. Hosts were easy to communicate with. Already planning when we can come back.

Embers is a terrific getaway spot! While Murphysboro is not the flashiest spot Embers alone makes the trip worth it. The property is stunning. Couldn't get my daughter (or me) out of the pool! Amazing sitting on the porch watching deer, turkeys, and other wildlife. Pool table, lawn games, fishing, there's so much to do without ever leaving! Would absolutely stay again.

Embers was the perfect weekend getaway location with plenty of amenities to keep everyone busy. It is clear that Kasia and Frank take extreme pride in providing the best experience for their guests that they can. The house was spotless and as-described, communication was efficient, and the beautiful sights and sounds outside the house were the cherry on top. I will without a doubt be looking to stay here again if I have the opportunity. Could not have asked for a better booking/staying experience.

Fantastic house and property! This experience was even better that what we had imagined from the pictures and description. Communication was on point, and the hosts were very personable and attentive. The house was clean and inviting , and the pool area and lake were very enjoyable.

What an absolute joy and relaxing retreat Embers is. I feel that I have stayed in numerous ABNB's in and out of the country. This is the most perfect and comfortable home I have stayed in. Kasia and Frank are absolutely amazing and thoughtful hosts. Always responsive, accommodating, and even sent a little treat for us. They really have thought of everything that you may need. kitchen is fully stocked with EVERYTHING! I love to cook, and between the kitchen and BBQ we ate most of our meals in as I had all the needed equipment. All the bedrooms are very comfortable and roomy. The pool was a little too cool, but the hottub made up for that. We had deer every morning and evening come through, with a random turkey in tow...lol There were only three of us, but if we had ten people, there was plenty of room to get lost from each other. Between indoor and outdoor activities, space, pond, and more, we didn't need to leave. We are already planning our next stay here with more friends.

Totally met our expectations!! Met for a fall girls week and this place was a gem. If you enjoy nature, swimming , hot tub relaxing, and a great game room this is it!! If you have a chance I would say try this area of Illinois in the fall, it is awesome.

A great place for a family getaway! The pond was stocked with TONS of fish! The pool was refreshing on the hot sunny days! Quickly fixed a hiccup and continued our family time together. The delivered cookies were a hit among the kids. What a nice welcoming surprise! Can't wait to see how the property develops throughout the next year! Easy to enjoy and unwind!

It was by far the most BEAUTIFUL AirBnB we've ever stayed in. Frank was amazing and so patient with all our questions. (Senior citizens, LOL). BFF-girls trip! There is lots of wildlife, Beautiful surroundings and so Peaceful! The kitchen is well stocked with all you need accessories. Clearly, a coffee/tea lovers dream with the several Keurig makers. The fire pit is a must see and must do experience. We will definitely be back and highly recommend our friends and family to stay there. If I could put 10 Stars ?? I would Thank you, Frank and Kasia

We absolutely loved our stay at the Embers of Murphysboro! As soon as we stepped out of the car, we realized how peaceful and serene the setting was! The house is gorgeous, and had a lot of nice amenities! Getting to Giant City State Park, and the Shawnee National Forest was a breeze. we enjoyed excellent barbecue one night. All positive things to say about our experience!

This is a great place to stay! It has everything you need and more. The hosts are reliable and communicative and extremely accommodating.

We chose your cabin as a central location for family coming in for the holiday. We had folks from Florida, Missouri, and Indiana. We couldn't have chosen a better place! The cabin had an incredible atmosphere. The attention to detail and amenities couldn't be beat. Plenty of room for all 12 of us to gather, play games, enjoy the fireplaces, laugh, and make memories. Liked it so well, we already booked time in the summer to come back. And everyone wants to join! Thank you again for sharing your home with us! See ya next year ??

I booked this house for my bachelor party. Everyone was very impressed with how spacious it was and all the amenities it provided. Great place to stay with friends. I only wish we could've stayed longer than a night. We'll book again in the future!

If you're considering staying here, do it! This home is absolutely incredible top to bottom, and the photos just cannot do it justice. Kasia and Frank's home was just perfect for myself and our group of six young adults. It was the perfect getaway to step away from work and daily responsibilities, and enjoy the beautiful amenities they have to offer. Their hospitality and responsiveness is some of the best I've ever experienced through AirBnB. We will be back 100%!
